Football, basketball, hockey, soccer, wrestling, gymnastics, or just an ambitious afternoon on the trampoline — active childhoods come with sprains, strains, and spills. The body will heal the tissue, but often it doesn’t heal completely, and an injury that’s only 90% resolved becomes the weak link that keeps getting re-injured.
Dr. Badinger obtained certification in Sports Injury care. For young athletes, that means a careful assessment of the injury and the mechanics around it. For example, a twisted ankle changes how a kid runs, and how a kid runs changes what happens to their knees, hips, and spine.
Care plans for young athletes combine specific adjustments modified to each child with rehabilitative exercise, with one goal: a full recovery that lets them get back to the sport they love — stronger and more balanced than before the injury.
If we do not think we can help you, we will refund the entire cost of the visit. That is how confident we are in being honest with you about whether we are the right fit.
